In cooperation with the Croatian Monetary Institute, the Croatian National Bank issued, as part of a mini coin series, a commemorative gold coin “Lace-making in Croatia” with the motifs of Pag and Lepoglava lace, which are part of the Croatian cultural heritage under UNESCO protection.

Commemorative gold coins are made in a special minting technique that achieves the quality of a polished plate.
