The smallest town in the world gets the smallest coin in the world<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hum, known as the smallest town in the world, shows up on the smallest* coin in the world<\/strong>, issued by the Croatian National Bank<\/strong> and minted by the Croatian Mint<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diameter of the gold coin is 1.99<\/strong> millimetres and it weighs only 0.05<\/strong> grams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The smallest coin is part of a gold numismatic set<\/strong>, along with a one ounce gold coin<\/strong> with the motif of the Vi\u0161njan Observatory<\/strong>. The observatory is is amongst the top five observatories in the world in collecting more near-Earth object (NEO) measurements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The numismatic set is issued in a limited series of only 199 <\/strong>pieces, these sets being the last commemorative gold coins issued with the Croatian kuna face value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The face value of the Hum gold coin is one <\/strong>kuna, and of the one ounce Vi\u0161njan coin is 1000 <\/strong>kuna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
