Continuing the successful series of gold and silver coins “Croatian Heritage”,<\/strong> the Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, is issuing coins featuring the motif of Halubje Bell Ringers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout history, Halubje Bell Ringers were strong young men who roamed villages, introducing themselves and showcasing their strength in search of a life partner. At that time of year, villagers eagerly welcomed them into their homes, as their arrival marked the beginning of spring land cultivation and livestock preparation for grazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To further honour this tradition, the Croatian Mint has minted an exclusive collection of coins in three variations: a 1 oz gold coin <\/a>(\u20ac100), a 1 oz silver coin<\/a> (\u20ac4), and a 5 oz silver coin<\/a> (\u20ac8).<\/strong>
The 1 oz gold and 5 oz silver coins are enriched with the vibrant colors of the Halubje Bell Ringers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design of these collector editions is the work of the talented artist Chiara Principe<\/a><\/strong>, who, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint and representatives of the Halubajski Zvon\u010dari Association, has created coins that uniquely capture the strength, rhythm, and symbolism of this ancient custom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
