The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, is issuing a new collector coins dedicated to the most numerous indigenous horse breed in Croatia – the Croatian Coldbood<\/strong>.

The \u201eCroatian Coldblood\u201c collector issue, part of the \u201eAutochthonous Croatia\u201c series, will be available for purchase on October 23rd from 9:00 a.m.<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Croatian Coldblood is a native horse breed that has been raised for centuries in Croatia, particularly around Sisak and other lowland areas. It was developed by crossing local mares with heavy draft breeds such as the Noriker, Ardennes, and Percheron, aiming to create a strong, resilient, and calm horse suited for work in agriculture and forestry.
This breed is known for its sturdy build \u2013 broad chest, powerful legs, and a muscular body designed for demanding physical tasks. The Croatian Coldblood is included in the Register of Native and Endangered Domestic Animal Breeds of Croatia<\/strong>, helping to support its breeding and preservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
