The Croatian Mint proudly presents latest collector coin dedicated to Croatian lace. The 1\/4<\/strong> ounce (7,776 g) gold coin “Lace-making in Croatia” is made of 999.9\/1000 pure gold and belongs to the category of investment gold. Available in a limited series of only 1,000<\/strong> pieces, it represents an exceptional gift for special occasions.<\/p>\n

Lace, being delicate and precise handicraft, has deep roots in European cultural history, especially in the 15th century. Lace makers of that time created this art by hand, laying the foundations for what would later be considered invaluable cultural heritage. In early days, lace was reserved for the clergy and the nobility, used to adorn religious vestments and luxury clothing. Over time, lace became accessible to a wider population and entered the common people’s culture, becoming a part of the rich ethnographic heritage. Lace adorned traditional women’s clothing, household linens, and various everyday items. UNESCO recognized the value of this heritage and, in 2009, granted it the status of intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

The new artistic design of the gold collector coin “Lace-making in Croatia” is the result of the exceptional artistic talent of the academic sculptor Stjepan Divkovi\u0107. The obverse of the coin features a stylized representation of lace from the regions of Pag, Lepoglava, and Hvar, each of which is specific either in its stitching\/crocheting technique or the material used. The reverse of the coin, on the other hand, depicts the motif of St. Mary’s lace, known for being made from a single uninterrupted thread..<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

By confirming the order, it will be considered that the Buyer agrees with the price of the Product and other costs, and the Buyer will be sent a purchase quotation and\/or an order confirmation via e-mail.<\/p>\n

If the Buyer is paying by\u00a0wire transfer<\/strong>, once the quotation is delivered to the Buyer by e-mail,\u00a0the price indicated on the quotation is valid for 2 hours from the moment of delivery of the quotation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In case the Buyer does\u00a0not<\/strong> deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is\u00a0no longer valid<\/strong>\u00a0and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
