This 1\/4-ounce <\/strong>(7.776 g) gold coin<\/strong> is the perfect gift that combines the beauty of tradition with long-term value. Minted from the highest purity gold (999.9\/1000), it falls into the category of investment gold<\/strong> and is issued in a limited series of 250<\/span> pieces<\/strong>. This collector issue comes in an elegant box with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.<\/p>\n

The new gold coin, which revives the legend of falku\u0161a gajeta, has been issued in honour of the maritime heritage and the preservation of the tradition of the most remote inhabited Croatian island – Vis.<\/p>\n

The design is by academic sculptor Jelena Mavri\u0107 Varga<\/strong><\/a>, who intricately depicts two falku\u0161a gajetas<\/em> on the obverse of the coin, locked in an eternal struggle with the waves of the Adriatic, while the reverse reveals a view of the Ka\u0161tel in Komi\u017ea, featuring the last remaining falku\u0161a gajetas<\/em>.<\/p>\n
