The design on the commemorative coin depicts King Tomislav, crowned in 925 as the Croatian king, whose reign holds exceptional historical and cultural significance for the Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>The author of the design of the national side is Nikola Vudrag, and the coin, in <strong>Proof<\/strong> quality, was minted by the Croatian Mint in a series of <strong>5,000<\/strong> pieces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description of the national side of the commemorative coin:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The national side of the commemorative coin features the main motif of King Tomislav on a horse. The background of the main motif features Croatia&#8217;s distinctive symbol, the Croatian checkerboard, which represents part of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia laid down in the Act on the Coat of Arms, Flag and Anthem of the Republic of Croatia and on the Flag and the Sash of the President of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 55\/1990, 26\/1993 and 29\/1994).
