The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, has issued the gold collector coin \u201cAugust \u0160enoa\u201d as part of the \u201cCroatian Literature\u201d series. The 1\/8 ounce<\/strong> gold coin (3.888 grams), with a face value of 20 euro<\/strong>, is available in a limited series of 150<\/span> pieces<\/strong>. Minted in Brilliant Uncirculated quality<\/strong>, this coin is made from 999.9\/1000 gold and belongs to the investment gold<\/strong>.\u00a0Each coin comes in a\u00a0luxurious box with a certificate\u00a0of authenticity signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.<\/p>\n

On the obverse, the author of the design Duje Mateti\u0107 <\/strong>has depicted August \u0160enoa, one of the most important Croatian writers and an author regarded as the founder of modern Croatian literature. Through his work, he left a profound mark on the cultural and social life of the 19th century, and his name still denotes one of the most important periods in Croatian literary history \u2013 the \u0160enoa era.<\/p>\n

The reverse features the Stone Gate, one of Zagreb\u2019s most recognisable landmarks, evoking the world of \u0160enoa\u2019s best-known novel \u201cThe Goldsmith\u2019s Gold\u201d. As an enduring symbol of the city that so deeply shaped his work, the Stone Gate creates a symbolic link between August \u0160enoa\u2019s literary legacy and the Zagreb to which he gave such a distinctive imprint through his writing.<\/p>\n

In case the Buyer does\u00a0not<\/strong> deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is\u00a0no longer valid<\/strong>\u00a0and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
