The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with Croatian Mint, has issued the gold coin \u201cVu\u010dedol Culture\u201d as part of the \u201cCroatian Heritage\u201d series. The one-ounce gold coin<\/strong> (31.103 grams), with a face value of 100 euro<\/strong>, is available in a strictly limited mintage of only 50<\/span> pieces<\/strong>. Minted in Proof<\/strong> quality<\/strong>, this coin is made from 999.9\/1000 gold and belongs to the investment gold<\/strong>.\u00a0It is presented in a luxury box with a numbered certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.<\/p>\n

On the obverse, author of the design Matej Pa\u0161ali\u0107<\/strong> depicts the motif of the Vu\u010dedol boot – one of the most recognisable archaeological finds of the Vu\u010dedol Culture. This small yet exceptionally valuable object reflects highly developed craftsmanship, precision in production, and a refined sense of function and aesthetics within a community that lived more than five thousand years ago.<\/p>\n

The reverse features the unfolded surface of a Vu\u010dedol vessel with four bands symbolising constellations in the night sky during different seasons. It is believed that this vessel represents one of the oldest Indo-European calendars and is colloquially known as \u201cOrion\u201d, after a symbol frequently found on Vu\u010dedol pottery. Owing to its historical symbolism and extremely limited mintage, this gold coin represents an exceptional collector and investment piece.<\/p>\n

The Buyer is obliged to\u00a0send a confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation to the e-mail<\/strong>\u00a0address of the Seller:\u00a0prodaja@croatianmint.hr<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In case the Buyer does\u00a0not<\/strong> deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is\u00a0no longer valid<\/strong>\u00a0and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
