The Croatian Mint has issued the Croatian official set of euro coins for 2024 in the Proof quality. The set includes denominations of euro coins and euro cents circulation coins with the year of minting 2024 in the highest quality.

The official set of Croatian euro coins for 2024 is available in a limited series of only 500 pieces, representing the largest city on the Istrian peninsula – Pula.

Pula is the largest city on the Istrian peninsula, located at its southern tip. With a population of over 50,000 residents, it is the eighth-largest city in the country. The city has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. Pula served as the administrative center of Istria since the time of ancient Rome until Pazin replaced it in 1991.

Pula is known for its numerous ancient Roman structures, the most famous of which is the Pula Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheaters. The large amphitheatre, Pula Arena, was built between 27 BC and 68 AD. Constructed from limestone, it is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre with all four towers fully intact and is among the six largest surviving Roman arenas in the world.

The euro coin set comes in a wooden box with a numbered certificate signed by the director of the Croatian Mint.
