The Croatian Mint has issued the Croatian official set of euro coins for 2026 in the Proof quality. The set includes denominations of euro coins and euro cents circulation coins with the year of minting 2026 in the highest quality.

The official Croatian euro coin set for 2026 is available in a limited edition of only 500 pieces and is dedicated to Vukovar, a city located at the confluence of the River Vuka and the Danube, whose history is recorded in written sources from the early 13th century.

Owing to its position on the navigable Danube, Vukovar developed over the centuries as an important transport and trading centre of eastern Croatia. The city’s historical development is reflected in its urban core, characterised by Baroque and Classical architecture, including Eltz Castle, which today houses the Vukovar City Museum, as well as the Vukovar Water Tower, now serving as a memorial centre.

The euro coin set comes in a wooden box with a numbered certificate signed by the director of the Croatian Mint.
