On 14 July this year, the Croatian National Bank released into circulation the commemorative 2-euro coin “1 100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the Coronation of King Tomislav”.
The commemorative 2-euro coin “1 100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the Coronation of King Tomislav” in coincard packaging will be available for purchase from 21 August 2025 on the Croatian Mint’s website.
The motifs on the commemorative coin depict King Tomislav, who was crowned Croatian king in 925. This year marks the beginning of the highly significant 1,100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom, which holds profound historical and cultural meaning for the Croatia. The depiction of the monument to King Tomislav was one of the central motifs on the reverse side of the former 1,000 kuna banknote. The author of the design for the national side is Nikola Vudrag, Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture, and the coin was minted by the Croatian Mint Ltd.
The commemorative 2-euro coin “1 100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the Coronation of King Tomislav” in coincard packaging is available in a series of 5,000 pieces. To ensure availability for as many of our registered customers as possible, purchases are limited to five (5) pieces per delivery address.
The commemorative 2 euro coins in coincard packaging will be delivered throughout September and October in accordance with the order of received orders.
