The Croatian National Bank and the Croatian Mint are proud to announce the newest coin in the series of collector issues dedicated to the most renowned ruler of early medieval Croatia—King Tomislav, who in the year 925 became the first King of Croatia.

Continuing the “King Tomislav” numismatic series, the Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, is issuing a silver collector coin titled “King Tomislav” with a weight of 2 ounces.

Tomislav was the first Croatian ruler to hold the royal title, and his coronation in 925 was confirmed by Pope John X. During his reign, Croatia experienced territorial expansion and military stability, successfully defending against Hungarian incursions and strengthening its position among European states. For this reason, his legacy is deeply rooted in Croatian identity, and his name is borne by numerous streets, squares, and institutions across the country.

This coin comes in an elegant presentation box with a sleeve highlighting the coin’s features and includes a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.
