Continuing the collector coin series “Trsat Dragon”, the Croatian National Bank, in cooperation with the Croatian Mint, is issuing a 2 ounce silver coin “Trsat Dragon”. This unique coin, minted by the Croatian Mint, is produced for the first time in ultra high relief.

The motif of the Trsat Dragon holds broader cultural significance, connecting Croatia and European heritage, conveying the story of the life and work of Laval Nugent. Interestingly, it has also become a symbol in many legends and stories celebrating the bravery of dragons.

The new collector coin is presented as a 2 ounce (62.207 grams) silver piece with a purity of 999.9/1000 and a nominal denomination of 6 euro, minted in a limited series of 1,000 pieces.
The uniqueness of this coin was enhanced by Germania Mint through antique finish and partial gilding, which further highlight the design details.

The release is complemented by themed packaging developed in collaboration with designers from Germania Mint. Combined with acrylic glass display and a wooden stand, Qureco, an innovative and 100% ecological cardboard packaging, introduces a new collector’s experience, providing a contemporary and economical method for securing and presenting the numismatic product.
