The new gold coin “Lace-making in Croatia”, with a face value of 10 euros, weighs 1/16 ounce (1.944 grams), is issued in a limited series of 3,000 pieces. This gold numismatic coin, made of 999.9/1000 purity gold, belongs to the category of investment gold. Each coin comes in an elegant box, along with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank, further confirming its authenticity.

The gold collector coin “Lace-making in Croatia” is dedicated to the rich Croatian tradition of lace-making, dating back centuries. Lace was originally created for the clergy and nobility, later becoming a part of the national ethnographic heritage, adorning traditional women’s clothing and linen. Despite the threat of oblivion, lace has been preserved thanks to the efforts of numerous associations, schools, workshops and courses that have passed on this valuable tradition from generation to generation. In 2009, lace was recognized as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.

The design of the collector coin is an exceptional work by the academic sculptor Stjepan Divković. The obverse of the coin features stylized motifs of Pag, Lepoglava, and Hvar lace, each with its characteristic stitching/crocheting methods and materials. The reverse of the coin depicts the motif of St. Mary’s lace, which is made from a single uninterrupted thread.

In case the Buyer does not deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is no longer valid and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order.
