The Croatian National Bank, in cooperation with the Croatian Mint, has issued the “Dražen Petrović” silver coin weighing one ounce (31.103 grams). The silver collector coin, in the 4 euro denomination, has been minted in the highest Proof quality. Made of 999.9/1000 pure silver, it is an ideal gift for special occasions. The silver coin is issued in a limited series of 4,000 pieces and comes in a box with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

In honour of Dražen Petrović’s 60th birthday, the new issue of collector coins features the image and legacy of Croatia’s basketball virtuoso, interpreted by the talented Croatian sculptor Nikola Vudrag. On the reverse of the coin, the artist brings us closer to the image of a basketball in the hoop, the most powerful symbol of Dražen’s success on the court, while the obverse features him in a basketball action that audiences in Croatia and around the world loved to watch.
