The Croatian National Bank in cooperation with the Croatian Mint has issued the silver collector coin “Halubje Bell Ringers”. Minted in 999.9/1000 silver in brilliant uncirculated quality, the coin comes in a box with a certificate signed by the governor of the Croatian National Bank. The total issued quantity of the silver collector coin in the 4 euro denomination is limited at 2,000 items. 

Halubje Bell Ringers, one of Croatia’s most recognizable traditions and a part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, have been marching through coastal regions for centuries. Dressed in distinctive sheepskin coats, wearing imposing masks on their heads, and carrying loud bells around their waists, they perform a ritual that invokes fertility, protects the community from evil forces, and preserves a rich cultural legacy passed down through generations.

The design of this collector issue is the work of the talented artist Chiara Principe, who, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint and representatives of the Halubajski Zvončari Association, has created coins that uniquely capture the power, rhythm, and symbolism of this ancient tradition.
