The Croatian National Bank, in cooperation with the Croatian Mint, has issued the “King Tomislav” silver coin weighing two-ounce (62.207 grams) . The silver collector coin, in the 6 euro denomination, has been minted in the highest Proof quality. Made of 999.9/1000 pure silver, it is an ideal gift for special occasions. The silver coin is issued in a limited series of 500 pieces and comes in a box with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

Commemorating the 1100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom, this collector release features the image of King Tomislav, the most renowned ruler of early medieval Croatia, as interpreted by the talented Croatian sculptor Nikola Vudrag. The obverse of the coin presents King Tomislav’s profile adorned with his distinctive crown, while the reverse is decorated with an olive tree—a symbol of strength, wisdom, and peace.
