The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, has issued a coloured five-ounce (155.518 grams) silver coin with a nominal value of 8 euros. The silver collector coin is available in a limited series of 500 pieces. Minted in 999.9/1000 silver in brilliant uncirculated quality it is a suitable gift for special occasions and comes in a box with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

Halubje Bell Ringers, one of Croatia’s most recognizable traditions and a part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, have been marching through coastal regions for centuries. Dressed in distinctive sheepskin coats, wearing imposing masks on their heads, and carrying loud bells around their waists, they perform a ritual that invokes fertility, protects the community from evil forces, and preserves a rich cultural legacy passed down through generations.

The design of this collector issue is the work of the talented artist Chiara Principe, who, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint and representatives of the Halubajski Zvončari Association, has created coins that uniquely capture the power, rhythm, and symbolism of this ancient tradition.
