This 1/4-ounce (7.776 g) gold coin is the perfect gift that combines the beauty of tradition with long-term value. Minted from the highest purity gold (999.9/1000), it falls into the category of investment gold and is issued in a limited series of 250 pieces. This collector issue comes in an elegant box with a certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

The new gold coin, which revives the legend of falkuša gajeta, has been issued in honour of the maritime heritage and the preservation of the tradition of the most remote inhabited Croatian island – Vis.

The design is by academic sculptor Jelena Mavrić Varga, who intricately depicts two falkuša gajetas on the obverse of the coin, locked in an eternal struggle with the waves of the Adriatic, while the reverse reveals a view of the Kaštel in Komiža, featuring the last remaining falkuša gajetas.

Purchase and payment information

By confirming the order, it will be considered that the Buyer agrees with the price of the Product and other costs, and the Buyer will be sent a purchase quotation and/or an order confirmation via e-mail.
If the Buyer is paying by wire transfer, once the quotation is delivered to the Buyer by e-mail, the price indicated on the quotation is valid for 2 hours from the moment of delivery of the quotation.
The Buyer is obliged to send a confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation to the e-mail address of the Seller: [email protected].
In case the Buyer does not deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is no longer valid and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order.
