Lenuci’s Horseshoe, also known as the Green Horseshoe, is an urban complex in the center of Zagreb consisting of a series of seven squares and one park. The complex was built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, based on the ideas and plans of urban planner Milan Lenuci. This “horseshoe” shape encompasses green spaces, parks, and pedestrian zones, stretching from Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square (Zrinjevac) to the Botanical Garden, connecting numerous cultural and historical landmarks such as the Art Pavilion, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU), and the Ethnographic Museum.
Lenuci’s Horseshoe is now a protected cultural monument and a symbol of green spaces within the urban fabric of Zagreb.
The gold medal comes in a gift box with a declaration.
