The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with the Croatian Mint, has issued the gold collector coin “Queen Jelena the Glorious” as part of the “Rulers” series. The one ounce gold coin (31.103 grams), with a face value of 100 euro, is available in a limited series of 100 pieces. Minted in Proof quality, this coin is made from 999.9/1000 gold and belongs to the investment gold. Each coin comes in a luxurious box with a certificate of authenticity signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

On the obverse, the author of the design Nikola Vudrag, depicts Queen Jelena, a ruler remembered in Croatian history as Jelena the Glorious, protector of the poor, widows and orphans. Her name has been preserved on fragments of a stone funerary epitaph discovered in Solin, confirming her place within the Croatian royal heritage. The reverse features the Velebit degenia, a plant that grows from stone and withstands the harsh conditions of Mount Velebit, symbolising strength, endurance and continuity, much like the memory of Queen Jelena, which has endured through the centuries.

The packaging design is signed by Dig Studio, and the presentation case is crafted from carefully selected natural materials, further emphasising the symbolic value of this collector issue.

Purchase and payment information

By confirming the order, it will be considered that the Buyer agrees with the price of the Product and other costs, and the Buyer will be sent a purchase quotation and/or an order confirmation via e-mail.

If the Buyer is paying by wire transfer, once the quotation is delivered to the Buyer by e-mail, the price indicated on the quotation is valid for 2 hours from the moment of delivery of the quotation.

The Buyer is obliged to send a confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation to the e-mail address of the Seller: [email protected].

In case the Buyer does not deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is no longer valid and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order.
