The commemorative 2 euro coin “The Old Town of Varaždin” 2024 in Proof quality will be available for purchase starting from 17th September, with a limit of up to five (5) coins per registered user.

€2 commemorative coins are specially designed coins issued by Eurozone countries to commemorate historical events or draw attention to cultural elements relevant to that country.

The Croatian National Bank release a commemorative 2 euro coin as part of the “Croatian Cities” series, featuring designs that represent the historic building in the City of Varaždin, which holds significant historical and cultural value for the Republic of Croatia. This image was one of the main motifs on the reverse side of the 5 kuna banknote.

The coin comes in a box with a numbered certificate signed by the general manager of the Croatian Mint.
