THE GOLD COIN “TRSAT DRAGON” IS SOLD OUT!

The Croatian National Bank in cooperation with the Croatian Mint has issued a gold collector coin “Trsat Dragon”. The one ounce (31.103 grams) gold coin is issued in the 100 euro denomination and is available in a limited series of 100 pieces. Minted in 999.9/1000 gold belongs to the investment gold category and comes in a box with a certificate signed by the governor of the Croatian National Bank.

Basilisks, commonly referred to as Trsat Dragons in Rijeka’s folk traditions, are mythical creatures with characteristics of a snake, dragon, and rooster. They are considered guardians of the Trsat fortress above Rijeka and were an integral part of the noble coat of arms of the Nugent family. Their creation was entrusted to the renowned Viennese sculptor Anton Dominik Fernkorn, whose works have left an indelible mark on Croatian sculpture in the 19th century.

This unique coin has a deep historical and cultural background, inspired by the Trsat Dragons, or basilisks, bronze sculptures crafted in the first half of the 19th century at the request of Austrian Field Marshal Count Laval Nugent. The numismatic coin edition “Trsat Dragon” features the dragon statue on both sides. The artistic design of the issue “Trsat Dragon” is signed by the author Natalia Danysz.

Purchase and payment information

By confirming the order, it will be considered that the Buyer agrees with the price of the Product and other costs, and the Buyer will be sent a purchase quotation and/or an order confirmation via e-mail.

If the Buyer is paying by wire transfer, once the quotation is delivered to the Buyer by e-mail, the price indicated on the quotation is valid for 2 hours from the moment of delivery of the quotation.

The Buyer is obliged to send a confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation to the e-mail address of the Seller: [email protected].

In case the Buyer does not deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is no longer valid and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order.
