The Croatian National Bank, in collaboration with Croatian Mint, has issued the gold coin “Neretva Boat” as part of the “Croatian Ships” series. The one-ounce gold coin (31.103 grams), with a face value of 100 euro, is available in a strictly limited mintage of only 50 pieces. Minted in Proof quality, this coin is made from 999.9/1000 gold and belongs to the investment gold. It is presented in a luxury box with a numbered certificate signed by the Governor of the Croatian National Bank.

On the obverse of the coin, the author of the design, Petar Varga, depicts the Neretva boat in two parts – the bow and the stern. The emphasised details of its wooden construction highlight the traditional boatbuilding craftsmanship of the Neretva Valley and pay tribute to a vessel that was an indispensable part of life along the river for centuries.

The reverse of the coin depicts “parićanje” – one of the three traditional ways of navigating the Neretva boat. This method is particularly important as it continues to keep the boat active today through traditional competitions, most notably the “Neretva Boat Marathon”. By combining the traditional vessel with its contemporary legacy, the coin serves as a lasting reminder of the cultural heritage of the Neretva Valley and one of the most recognisable features of Croatian river tradition.

Purchase and payment information

By confirming the order, it will be considered that the Buyer agrees with the price of the Product and other costs, and the Buyer will be sent a purchase quotation and/or an order confirmation via e-mail.

If the Buyer is paying by wire transfer, once the quotation is delivered to the Buyer by e-mail, the price indicated on the quotation is valid for 2 hours from the moment of delivery of the quotation.

The Buyer is obliged to send a confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation to the e-mail address of the Seller: [email protected].

In case the Buyer does not deliver the confirmation of payment to the Seller within 2 hours from the delivery of the quotation, the price indicated on the quotation is no longer valid and the Buyer is obliged to place a new order.
