The Croatian National Bank in cooperation with the Croatian Mint has issued the silver collector coin “Croatian Coldblood”. Minted in 999.9/1000 silver in Brilliant Uncirculated quality, the coin comes in a box with a certificate signed by the governor of the Croatian National Bank. The total issued quantity of the silver collector coin in the 4 euro denomination is limited at 1,500 items. 

This new issue is dedicated to the most numerous indigenous horse breed in Croatia – the Croatian Coldblood. This horse breed has a rich and long history and holds an important place in Croatia’s cultural heritage. Today, it is carefully bred and nurtured as a living symbol of tradition, rural heritage and native livestock production in Croatia.

The design was created by the noted sculptor Nikola Vudrag, who depicted the recognisable head of the Croatian Coldblood on the obverse, while the reverse features a full representation of its powerful figure.
